We are headed back to Pisces in the morning, almost everything is packed, and we managed to get a few last minute purchases in...including our new anchor.
We've included Tao's new primary anchor in the photo for comparison purposes.
Okay, don't worry, that's actually a dinghy anchor.

Hi Guys, I am really curious to see how the Rocna works out. Please post about it. Good luck getting her back in the water and ready to go. Matt www.svkaleo.com
Pisces is a Jason 35 cutter sailboat, designed by Ted Brewer, as an ocean-going double-ender with a modified full keel (with a "Brewer bite").
Pisces' hull was laid in 1979 by Miller Marine in Bainbridge Washington. The hull then floated around until being purchased by Gary and Susan Fisher in the mid 1990's. Over the next 5 or so years they lovingly built (and rebuilt) Pisces in the Southern California desert.
We purchased her in Jan. 2007 in Oxnard California, brought her back to San Francisco, and are now cruising ports South.
We left San Francisco onboard our Jason 35' cutter, Pisces, in December 2008.
This blog is a place for us to document and share our experiences buying, prepping, and sailing our boat.
We also hope to hear from friends, family, sailors, Jason 35 owners and enthusiasts and provide a place to share our collective knowledge of these great boats.
