Cutting the rudder off. Tools used (in increasing order of desperation): Angle Grinder, Hacksaw (x2), Jigsaw, Hand Blade

Seriously!?!?

That is really your sweet new ride? That is amazing. I'm officially jealous. Looks perfect for a road trip home.

See you soon!

By sea and now by land. Wait a sec, in this picture of the van the rear license plate looks suspiciously like an Oregon plate...you aren't in Mexico at all, just up state a bit! Guess we'll be seeing you sooner than we think. Ha! Looks like a sweet ride indeed, will the rudder ride on top or cozily inside with yous? Enjoy the transition to the road. Hope your journey continues as safely and enjoyable as it has been so far.
Congratulations on leaving the dock and now returning, living as you've dreamed about, and being stretched in more ways than you expected. Thanks for sharing your thoughts and experiences with all of us along the way. Looking forward to seeing your smiles in the flesh.
